Acceptance of Terms

By booking a tour with Machu Picchu Sanctuary Travel, you agree to the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not proceed with the booking.

Reservations and Payments
  • Booking Process: Reservations can be made through our website, by email, or by phone.
  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour price is required to confirm the reservation. 
  • Final Payment: The final payment must be made at least 30 days before the tour start date. If the reservation is made within 30 days of the tour start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Cancellations and Refunds
  • Cancellations by the Client:
    • More than 30 days before the tour start date: 70% of the paid amount will be refunded.
    • Less than 30 days before the tour start date: No refund.
  • Cancellations by the Company: In the event of a cancellation by the Company due to unforeseen circumstances, the Client will be offered the option to reschedule the tour or receive a full refund.
Itinerary Modifications

The Company reserves the right to modify the tour itinerary due to weather conditions, safety situations, government restrictions, or other factors beyond our control. In such cases, an appropriate alternative will be provided at no additional cost to the Client.

Client Responsibilities
  • Documentation: The Client is responsible for having all necessary documentation (passport, visas, permits, etc.) in order.
  • Travel Insurance: It is highly recommended that the Client obtains travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical emergencies, and lost luggage.
  • Physical Condition: The Client must be in good physical condition to participate in the tour activities. Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed to the Company.
Limitation of Liability

The Company is not responsible for any loss, damage, accident, illness, delay, or any other irregularity caused by factors beyond our control, including, but not limited to, acts of nature, government actions, third-party accidents, or transportation failures.

Client Conduct

The Company reserves the right to refuse participation or continue service to any Client whose behavior interferes with the welfare and enjoyment of other tour participants or the Company staff. In such cases, no refund will be provided.

Image Use Rights

The Client agrees that the Company may use any photographs or videos taken during the tour for promotional purposes, unless the Client notifies the Company in writing of their objection before the tour begins.

Complaints and Claims

Any complaints should be communicated to the Company as soon as possible to be addressed in a timely manner. If not resolved during the tour, the Client must submit a formal written complaint within 30 days after the tour ends.

Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the country in which the Company is registered. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms will be resolved in the courts of that country.
