Solo Traveller

I recently had the chance to experience the Huchuy Qosqo Trek, and it was an unforgettable adventure. This trek offers a more serene and less crowded alternative to the popular Inca Trail, taking you through stunning Andean landscapes, charming villages, and incredible archaeological sites. The hike itself was challenging but manageable, and the sense of tranquility as you make your way through the mountains is truly special. The highlight was reaching the ancient site of Huchuy Qosqo, where you can feel the connection to history and the Incan culture. If you’re looking for an off-the-beaten-path trek that still provides an authentic Peruvian experience, I highly recommend this route.
